GeriScope's foundation is deeply rooted in the personal caregiving journey we navigated with our parents. This experience, encompassing all facets of aging, from the gradual decline of health to the final farewell, has imbued GeriScope with a profound understanding of the emotional and practical aspects of caregiving. It's not just a platform; it's a culmination of real-life experiences designed to support, educate, and comfort those facing similar paths.
Hi! I'm Cindy
Founder and Author
Serial entrepreneur and former full-time caregiver for eight years to her father with multiple chronic conditions while raising her teenage son.
A graduate of Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Medicine and Asian Studies; and a Master of Business Administration degree recipient in marketing and finance from UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management.
Currently lives in Dallas, Texas with her teenage son and advises businesses on strategic planning, marketing, finance, and operations as owner of Next Level Consulting, Inc.
Hello! I'm Bert
Doctor and Author
Practicing Anesthesiologist and caregiving son for his mother who passed away from complications associated with early onset Alzheimer’s disease.
Earned Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Dartmouth College and Medical Degree from Wayne State University. Completed residency at University of Texas Southwestern in Anesthesiology followed by a fellowship in solid organ transplants and cardiac anesthesiology.
Owns his anesthesiology private practice and resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife and teenage daughter.
